Jabba the Pug

hooray! mommy bought us a new kitchen bed! me and leia think it’s so comfy. the old bed was *really* old and lumpy. see how nice we share?

and now that the weather is nice here in colorado, we get to go on more walks! i’m trying to trim down to my summer weight so i can impress the ladies at the next puggie meetup. boy, i’m sure excited to go! we haven’t been since last year! now that our little brother is old enough, mommy promised us we could go.

my mommy likes to call me the ‘little mother’ because i keep everybody clean, toes, ears, faces, hands, everything!

can you guys believe it? 3 years ago today my mommy and daddy adopted me! and boy oh boy have i had some good times in those 3 short years. here’s some things that have happened:

-mommy and daddy graduated college
-we moved cross-country to new york city
-we made some really great fwiends who we’ll never ever forget, lorrie, frankie, and freida, who we miss very much
-mommy and daddy and me moved back halfway across the country to colorado
-i’ve gone on lots of road trips to see my cousin mickey
-we adopted my little sister, princess leia
-me and leia have a new little brother

and that’s just to name a FEW! oh, and since may 8 was mother’s day 3 years ago, mommy always says that was her first mother’s day cause she loves me so much!

i’m sure there will be lots more fun to come, too!

actually, we never went anywhere, we’ve just been really really busy! you might be asking yourself ” what are two cute little pugs so busy with?” well…..

and now, 2 months later, we’re super busy with 2 am feedings and diaper duty! we have a little brother and his name is arthur!

boy oh boy, things around here sure have changed! it all started one night when mommy and daddy left us all alone when we should have been sleeping. right after that our cousin mickey got to stay with us for a while, which was really fun. we got in to some REAL twouble then! that’s when mommy and daddy brought us a new brother! leia and me really really like him. he’s fun to sniff and lick and he makes more noise then we do! i’m gonna keep this short since mommy assigned me to diaper duty today, leia gets the day off.

and to spice things up a little, daddy has started taking me to work with him! leia went once, too, but daddy didn’t take a picture of her. here i am, a hard working pug!

greetings from me and leia! not much has been happening around our place lately, but i just wanted to say hi to all of you. leia’s been playing and running around and acting just plain crazy, as usual, but as for myself, i’ve been in hibernation 75% of the time.

leia and me want to say thank you to auntie tiffany for sending us a box full of stuff just for us! i’ll have mommy take a picture of us in our new coat and scarf soon! and another thank you to mommy’s fwiend, amanda, who sent leia a t-shirt. well, mommy says it was an accident and it was meant for our future little brother, but the company sent us a duplicate, and guess what? it’s just leia’s size!

hi guys! guess what? i’m 1 year old now! mommy says i’m a big girl now so that means more responsibility, but then i tell her i’m made for one thing, and one thing only: fun!

and what’s more fun than dinosaur bones?! our nice fwiend lorrie (and frankie and frieda) from ny sent us 2 HUUUUUUUGE bones to play with! thank you so much guys! you’re the BEST! we really love them, they’re so fun to chew and chew and chew and chew! they’re bigger than we are!

to get ready for my birthday, mommy made me some new toys, a new bed, and a pawty dress. here’s me with a stolen birthday toy:

well fwiends….it’s a new year! just think of all the tweats i’m gonna get this year, and all the toys i’ll play with, and all the new fwiends i’m gonna meet!

mommy made us stay up last night till really late….but since this is my 3rd new years, i kinda knew what was going on. leia was a little confused, but she eventually got into the spirit of begging for spinach dip, veggies, and sparkly drink. and me and my pack (family) let the new year in with a good ‘ol singing session, howling at the ceiling! we were so tired that we actually let mommy and daddy sleep in till 8.30!! (well, leia let them sleep in, i’m always hiding under the covers hoping she’ll forget i’m there and let me sleep)
