Jabba the Pug

Friday was Jabba’s Birthday. I didn’t get him anything, but the ‘rents did–a chewy bone, a ‘Birthday Cake’ dog cookie with frosting, and a new cover for our bed. I always get to play with the new toys that we get first because I’m the boss around here. I was also happy to be able to partake in some of Jabba’s birthday turkey and spinach casserole that we’ve been gobbling down over the past few days. Recently we took a trip to California. We saw cousin Mickey and his family and stayed at his house while the ‘rents and the little one gallivanted all over Northern California without us. We had lots of fun at Mickey’s house though. Check out some of our pictures below. Enjoy!

Jabba and I went on a camping trip this weekend. This was the first time I’ve ever gone in all of my 5 months, so I didn’t really know what to expect. We took a ride in the car about an hour until we got to our camping site. Mommy and daddy said that the campground wasn’t the best one they’d ever been to, but I don’t know what they’re talking about; I had a lot of fun. P.S. Leia and I are going to another Pug Meetup Tomorrow in Boulder, so expect lots of pictures from that coming soon. This is going to be Leia's first time meeting other pugs, so it's bound to be exciting! Well, today was supposed to be another Pug Meetup in Boulder, but unfortunately the weather is a little worse for wear around here (20-30s) Old Man Winter is back! So unfortunately Leia and I didn’t get to go to that, but here are some pics of us in our backyard:

Wow. Time sure flies around here. Sorry I haven’t posted in a while–it’s been pretty busy around here. Since the last time I posted, I’ve gotten to know my new ’sister’ pretty well. We romp around together and sometimes I even let her snuggle next to me in my ‘nuzzle nest’ bed. The weather here in Colorado has warmed up quite a bit and Leia and I have been spending a lot more time in the backyard. Here are a couple of pics that were taken in the past couple days:

Little Princess Leia! She’s my new sister. She was born on January 12, 2007; my parents brought her home on March 09. She was quite the surprise to me when she came home that night–I really wasn’t expecting to have another pug in this household. I’m still kinda getting used to having her around. She’s so tiny and sometimes I’m a little rambunctious around her.
