Jabba’s Birthday Weekend

Friday was Jabba’s Birthday. I didn’t get him anything, but the ‘rents did–a chewy bone, a ‘Birthday Cake’ dog cookie with frosting, and a new cover for our bed. I always get to play with the new toys that we get first because I’m the boss around here. I was also happy to be able to partake in some of Jabba’s birthday turkey and spinach casserole that we’ve been gobbling down over the past few days.     Happy belated Birthday! My name is also Jabba and I am a 3 year old pug from Sarasota FL.
    When my owners rescued me from the animal shelter I was close to 30 pounds! Being avid Star Wars fans they dubbed my Jabba.
    I’m now down to a sleek 22 pounds but I still rule the galaxy from my high throne upon the recliner.
