Jabba the Pug

Recently we took a trip to California. We saw cousin Mickey and his family and stayed at his house while the ‘rents and the little one gallivanted all over Northern California without us. We had lots of fun at Mickey’s house though. Check out some of our pictures below. Enjoy!

If there’s anybody still out there, thanks for reading! The last three years have gone by pretty quickly. Now I have a little (human) baby brother Arthur, and my little (pug) sister Leia to keep me company. In the past three years, I’ve travelled across the country and back (from California to New York, and then back to Colorado with a trip or two back to California snuck back in there.) You could call me a well-travelled Pug. Colorado is nice, except when I have to pee in the snow.

Last weekend Leia and I (along with the rest of the family) went to another ‘pug meetup in Boulder, so here are some pictures of that. Enjoy, and see you around for another year.

i don’t know how you cats typically spend january, but here at my house it was a booooooring pugpoop of a month. mommy and daddy didn’t even take us anywhere! we didn’t even gets baths! AND we had to poop in the snow! thank my lucky stars it’s over, though, and the ‘rents have once again bathed us and taken us out to do stuff.

this last weekend jabba and i went with the ‘rents and our little brother on a super long walk. now don’t get me wrong, i’m a big lover of the outdoors, but boy was my little pug butt out of shape! you should have seen jabba! just as i was about to demand that daddy carry me, we got to some big fenced place that smelled like 3000 other dogs…it was great! i asked mommy why she hasn’t taken us to the dog park by our house sooner, but she didn’t answer. we sure had fun running around and stuff. some other dogs came, big dogs, and jabba followed them around. he always gets crushes on bigger dogs and wants to play.

i’m a true connoisseur of the ‘warm spot’…i also enjoy the ’sunny spot’, too.

jabba on the alert for a tasty bite. sometimes our little brother will drop a whole cookie! or share his dinner with us….thanks little guy!

well folks, another chwistmas is here. leia and me are having a fun day…mommy’s giving us bigger tweats than usual and we’ve been getting lots of tasty stuff from the table. last night we were all ready in our reindeer costumes in case santa needed some back up help, but he didn’t call us in. maybe next year!

it’s been pwetty cold here in colorado…here’s leia and me huddled around the heating vent…sometimes our bwother arthur joins us!

We went and saw Santa today! It was very fun. We got to tell him everything we want for Christmas.

Another month, another pug meetup. Leia and me took our semi-regular monthly trip down to our favorite dog park in Boulder. Below are some pictures of us romping around in the grass. Enjoy!

oh boy have we had a busy 2 weeks! you’ll never guess who came to visit us! our cousin mickey from california!! we had SO MUCH FUN! mickey loves to romp and play with me and jabba, but he gets tired pretty quickly so it was up to me to keep him busy. i was appointed his personal trainer while he was here and i’m pretty sure he lost a pound or two!

here we are, all three puggy cousins (well, actually mickey’s our uncle, but we call him cousin). jabba’s wearing his birthday pwesent, and mickey is wearing his new, cool harness, too. i’ve always had a puppia, so i guess i’ve always been cool.

and….TODAY IS JABBA’S BIRTHDAY!!! happy birthday big bwother! and we celebrated a few days earlier, while Mickey was still here. mommy made us a turkey casserole called ’savory scraps’ and boy oh boy was it ever tasty!!!

happy birthday jabba! and we miss you already mickey! so does our little brother arthur (he likes to sit on mickey like a horse).

what do two pugs do when it’s too hot to romp outside? run around like crazy inside and find crazy places to play ‘chase the pug’ in!

oh, and we cry for tweats and food, too. leia likes to scratch the carpet and i’ve taken to watching her get into trouble, as opposed to actually getting into twouble myself.

after bugging the heck out of mommy and daddy, we’re back after a month-long blogging absence! hooray for mommy! (daddy’s upstairs with blurred vision..something about ‘dilated pupils’ and ‘eye doctor’, whatever that means)

we’ve gotten to do some fun things, but crazy mommy and daddy keep forgetting to bring the camera. i told leia that we should buy our OWN camera and clip it to our harness so we can capture every moment of crazy butt-tucking, poo-sniffing, shoe chewing puggy life.

yes, i have to live with her.

in other news, the ‘rents keep buying things for our little brother, arthur. come on guys! we want fun stuff, too! look at these baby wipes! we could have so much fun with those if you would just leave them on the floor for us!

mommy has also noticed a strange phenomenon. several other pugs and their people have had little human puppies join them this spring. here are their blogs: all up in the kool-aid, goodboy norman featherstone, go pug yourself (formerly bringing up shelby), and flat nosed pups. and us! jabba and leia! with this discovery, mommy has uncovered a web-wide plot by us pugs to manufacture suitable human companions who will willingly and gladly bestow upon us all their tweats and snacks and cookies and biscuits and food! and so i’d like to say to all those successful…good work guys!
