Jabba the Pug

after bugging the heck out of mommy and daddy, we’re back after a month-long blogging absence! hooray for mommy! (daddy’s upstairs with blurred vision..something about ‘dilated pupils’ and ‘eye doctor’, whatever that means)

we’ve gotten to do some fun things, but crazy mommy and daddy keep forgetting to bring the camera. i told leia that we should buy our OWN camera and clip it to our harness so we can capture every moment of crazy butt-tucking, poo-sniffing, shoe chewing puggy life.

hark. what goes yonder? it’s leia with half a soda bottle stuck on her head.

yes, i have to live with her.

in other news, the ‘rents keep buying things for our little brother, arthur. come on guys! we want fun stuff, too! look at these baby wipes! we could have so much fun with those if you would just leave them on the floor for us!

mommy has also noticed a strange phenomenon. several other pugs and their people have had little human puppies join them this spring. here are their blogs: all up in the kool-aid, goodboy norman featherstone, go pug yourself (formerly bringing up shelby), and flat nosed pups. and us! jabba and leia! with this discovery, mommy has uncovered a web-wide plot by us pugs to manufacture suitable human companions who will willingly and gladly bestow upon us all their tweats and snacks and cookies and biscuits and food! and so i’d like to say to all those successful…good work guys!

mommy just told me that the very beautiful pug, Mimi LaRou, has pranced over the rainbow and out of Hollywood. from one pretty pug to another….we’ll all miss you Mimi!

guess where me and leia got to go last weekend?! the pug meetup! yaay! boy oh boy we’re sure glad to be back into the swing of summer fun! i would love to share with you some pictures of all the fun times we had, but silly mommy and daddy forgot the camera in the car.

we also have some good chases at home, too. here we are in the heat of battle!

over the last few months leia has adopted the stairs as her new domain. here she can gaze over her minions and ponder her tweats and toys and potty breaks

i’m sure we’ll have more fun this weekend, maybe the folks will even give us some bbq tweats! oh, and don’t forget to give your daddies lots of kisses and wiggles this weekend! i know me and leia sure will! our daddy is the best!

being a big brother sure has made me a more responsible pug! see what a good babysitter i am?

gotta scram! my morning nap is calling my name!

ooooh yeah…..two hot puggies soakin’ up some sun! is there anything better to do on a sunny afternoon?!

hooray! mommy bought us a new kitchen bed! me and leia think it’s so comfy. the old bed was *really* old and lumpy. see how nice we share?

and now that the weather is nice here in colorado, we get to go on more walks! i’m trying to trim down to my summer weight so i can impress the ladies at the next puggie meetup. boy, i’m sure excited to go! we haven’t been since last year! now that our little brother is old enough, mommy promised us we could go.

can you guys believe it? 3 years ago today my mommy and daddy adopted me! and boy oh boy have i had some good times in those 3 short years. here’s some things that have happened:

-mommy and daddy graduated college
-we moved cross-country to new york city
-we made some really great fwiends who we’ll never ever forget, lorrie, frankie, and freida, who we miss very much
-mommy and daddy and me moved back halfway across the country to colorado
-i’ve gone on lots of road trips to see my cousin mickey
-we adopted my little sister, princess leia
-me and leia have a new little brother

and that’s just to name a FEW! oh, and since may 8 was mother’s day 3 years ago, mommy always says that was her first mother’s day cause she loves me so much!

i’m sure there will be lots more fun to come, too!

actually, we never went anywhere, we’ve just been really really busy! you might be asking yourself ” what are two cute little pugs so busy with?” well…..

and now, 2 months later, we’re super busy with 2 am feedings and diaper duty! we have a little brother and his name is arthur!

boy oh boy, things around here sure have changed! it all started one night when mommy and daddy left us all alone when we should have been sleeping. right after that our cousin mickey got to stay with us for a while, which was really fun. we got in to some REAL twouble then! that’s when mommy and daddy brought us a new brother! leia and me really really like him. he’s fun to sniff and lick and he makes more noise then we do! i’m gonna keep this short since mommy assigned me to diaper duty today, leia gets the day off.

and to spice things up a little, daddy has started taking me to work with him! leia went once, too, but daddy didn’t take a picture of her. here i am, a hard working pug!
